should i go down the bunny hole to?

So, has anyone else noticed the recently alarming rate at which people seem to be dropping off the face of the planet? As of late a number of my community members have all seemed to disappear down the rabbit hole so to speak with a mass e-mail good bye citing the time of year as the reason for their disappearance. Oh and to not be surprised if they are different once they re-emerge from their self imposed alone and family time. While I think that yes it is great to turn inwards and work on ones self and family I do not understand the need to abandon ones friends to do so. Dont get me wrong I love to hermit and I am in fact queen hermiter, however, if one of my friends needs me I am there in a flash. I disappear and say hey i hate people right now but if you need me I'm hear for you. But as of late everyone is disappearing with the message to leave them the fuck alone because it is self time.  But oh they are just keeping in touch with the season.
Frankly, I think they have it wrong yes you should do more inward this time of year. Hell in Montana its kinda hard to get anywhere once the snow starts but I think when you are working on self you still need your peeps. And to alienate them is just stupid. I am just supposed to sit around alone when I am in need and wait for you to come out of your hole and then be thankful that you have graced me with your presence? Nope sorry I don't roll like that. Nor do I use the Wheel of the Year as an excuse for my actions which I am beginning to find is a popular cop out in the pagan community.

  1. Agreed. I find it rather sad that the community does this, but they do.

  2. I wonder if you mean blogger community? In any event. I see that happens a lot in blogging. When you have too much to do, it can be a real time and drain suck. But I don't think you have to abandon it altogether if you enjoy it. It's like anything else. You can always strike a balance.

Thanks for your comment on my Frida post. It's always great to hear from new people. :-)

    Ciao,
